After talking with a few of the ladies in my chat group I found out the name of this quilt. Its called the "Star of the Orient". I have another one like this on aprevious page that is still for sale. Thanks Dulci for sharing the name..

"Star of the Orient" is on my list of Quilts To Make Before I Die. I first saw it in a Leisure Arts book and later in a Judy Martin book. Your version is lovely!
I love star of the orient. I have that pattern in a book and always want to make it...lots of work. Beautiful quilt.
I saw your quilt (beautiful) and thought I would give it a try. I am having some challenges on keeping it straight throughout - any secrets you would share? I am thinking after doing the twisting star it MUST be exactly square. Linda
