Lori's Giraffe

One of my customers saw my Giraffe quilt and wanted to make one too. So I loaned her the pattern and she brought it to me to have it quilted.. Sorry about the picture being funky, new computer program and Im not sure how to crop it yet... The Giraffe is made with minkie and extra batting under so it pops out... It turned out so cute..
Thanks for taking a peek.

Donna's dragon flies!!

Just finished Donna's dragon flies and I really like the way it turned out... I did custom dragon flies in each of the blocks, if there wasnt one to shadow. Then I did some swirly girly type quilting around them . Was told that the dragon flies almost look like trapunto.. It was a fun quilt to do and I think Donna really liked it.. It will be hanging in the QA quilt show in Monroe this week end in Aunt Mary's booth.
Stop in take a peek.
Thanks for looking...

Hubby's Stained Glass--he's at it again!!

My darling hubby made this stained glass piece for our local quilt shop--Aunt Mary's... I think he did an awesome job on it... I also think that Caroll was tickled when I took it in to her.. If youre in the shop during Shop Hop, it should be hanging in the window...

3 of my most recent customer quilts...

Boy, I have been really bad about posting pictures and keeping up with my blog--my bad!!
Jan, Carol, and Holly each let me do "my thing" on their quilts... Its always fun to try to figure out what will look best on them..

Sometimes a quilt just makes you smile!!

I love it when I get a quilt in that makes me smile while working on it. This quilt was one of those special quilts--I smile, chuckled and just all around enjoyed myself while I was quilting it.. I love Carrol's imagination and whimsy that she put into this quilt...
Thanks for taking a peek.. Hope it made you smile today too..
