Just had to share my new scissors that my Auntie did up for me in her "Zany Art". These are now on my wall and looking pretty spiffy...

Dresden Dolls/For Sale

This quilt measures 99x99. This quilt is made up of blocks that I found after Mom passed away. I found 30 blocks, I put them together with the green sashing, I was trying to make it look old fashioned. The quilting around her skirt represents pebbles and the quilting around her body is to represent the wind blowing. There are leafy vines between the sashing. There are 21 hours of quilting time and I cant tell you how many bobbins of thread. This quilt is for sale.

Theresa's quilting

Just changed the top picture as the customer did decide that she wanted something put into the blue flowers, I ended up outlining them and then doing a leafy thing in the green leaves. ----I had been waiting to do this quilt for almost 2 weeks-I was really looking forward to it. I learned during the quilting that I really like to do the tighter type quilting. The top was awesome to work with, had just a tiny bit of fullness in a couple of the flowers but other than that it was a quilters dream. I wish I could get a picture of the whole quilt, it measures out at 106 x107. Cant tell you how many hours are in here or how many bobbins there are. All in all I REALLY like this quilt. Hope the customer is as happy with it as I am. Thanks for looking,
Lyn

Another customer quilt finished!!!

I just finished this sweet little quilt yesterday, the customer wanted tighter stitching around the flower centers. The back of the quilt shows that it is tightly stippled and then there is a flower in each of the blue centers. The red diamonds in the flowers have a "squiggly" diamond on the inside-really looks sharp from the back.
