The lion quilt is almost done!!

I've been working on this off and on for almost a year. I just have to add a border then I get to put it on the machine and do some quilting. Really looking forward to this part. I want to do lots of thread play in the lion and not sure what Im going to do around the cranes or in the solid black part. Will post more pictures when I get the quilting and binding done...

Thanks for taking a peek!!

Hope you are having a great day..

Wow, its been along time since I've posted anything. The heart quilt is the 2nd one that I have done for Jeri, 1st one went to DGD, and then DD had to have one for herself. I did this one a little different in the outer borders and I think it turned out awesome.
The Christmas wreath is one of Marta's. I really like the way it turned out. Fun to be working on Christmas things.

New Pattern that Im trying out!!!

I bought this book yesterday during the Shop Hop--Its an Elenore Burns book, Quilt in a Day, Day and Night. It was so neat that the template came with the book. Super easy to do and several different variations. I started out with a table runner just to see if I liked it, but my hidden motive is that I have a red, white and black quilt that I want to make, think this might be the pattern. Thanks for taking a look-see....

2 More Customer quilts complete!!

These were fun to do.. On the dark snowballs I got to try a swirly feather meander, something I had never done. Think it turned out pretty darn good, will be using it again. The Rooster was a kick to do. I put an extra layer of batting under him - then tightly did a paisley swirl. He stands out!!! Hes so darn cute, my customer has loaned me the pattern--I wanna do one too!! Thanks for looking.

1st Redwork Customer quilt....

I just finished this redwork quilt--first time for me to work on one. I think it turned out well, did learn a few things with it and look forward to doing another. My son stopped in and I was so proud of the cherries but all he could see was the embroidery, he was in total awe of the amount of work that goes into one.
Thanks for taking a peek.
