Mary C's "Desert Sky"

This quilt belongs to Mary C.  I finished it last week and I think she was tickled with how it turned out. It was so much fun to quilt.  Lots and lots of feathers.  Thanks for taking a peek.  Lynnie

Up first today is Linda N's Dresden Plate that she found in pieces at an auction.  This quilt was so fun to quilt and she loved it.

Sue U's Disappearing 9 Patch.  Going to one lucky little girl..

Tina D's Woodlawn Fairies quilt.  I love the hearts of quilters.  This quilt will be donated along with a few more of Tina's to a group home for teenagers.  Great job Tina.

A few of what I have been working on..

Wow, I have been busy and not keeping up with my blog.  Well I found where the hubby had them stored on the computer so hopefully I will be better in the future.  This first quilt is a baby quilt done by Joann--Isnt it sweet?

This is Darlines Delectable Mountains that she made for her son.  Out of her comfort zone but she did awesome.  The nest picture shows the quilting on the quilt...  Darline--you did GOOOD!

The next 3 are Sue's.  I love the Alaska girls, I have the pattern and it is now calling my name to do one too!
 Sue's done with Freddi Moran!!
 Sue's redwork...

Now this is gonna get confusing but this is a different Sue's quilt.  A 2 color quilt that turned out awesome!!
Ethel's quilt made for a friend that is gonna have knee surgery.  Its gonna be a snuggle quilt for sure, she has purple minkie backing.  I showed a picture of the back just to see what the quilting looked like.

Well thats about it, unless I find one that I missed.  Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and their week ends...
Thanks for taking a peek!!

Cleo's Quilt

I finished this beauty this morning.  Did a leaf motif in the green and then swirly's in the floral.  It really turned out pretty.  Cleo loved it, she said "Its your best yet".

I have been really bad about posting but there is a reason.... Hubby has been posting all customer quilts on our website, http://www.camlynquilts.com/  under quilting inspirations.  And he is so much more organized than I am I can never find the photos, but if hes doing the posting Im not complaining.  So if you wanna see what else I've been up to scoot on over to the website and check some of them out..
Thanks for taking a peek.

Sue and Lynn's quilts

Just finished both of these this weekend.  Sue's is the first quilt.  A sampler that turned out very pretty.  The pictures dont do this quilt justice.  This quilt was a bit of a challenge but I think we got it.  There was some fullness in the quilt and in the borders.  I chose an all over for the center then I did a segregated design in the border.  I managed to get most of the fullness quilted down..  Im happy with the way it turned out..  Thank you Sue!!

I had never worked on Twall (sp) before so this was a new experience for me.  Lynn wanted a simple all over that didnt detract from the pattern.  I chose a Floopy Flower and Im tickled with the way it turned out...  I love the solid back that shows the design, basically she now has a reversible quilt.
Thank you Lynn.

Kathy's BQ3

I have been horrible about adding finished quilt pictures.  This one is Kathy's, she made it for friends.  She told me to do what ever I wanted to do, so feathers are my fancy as of late so I did lots of feathers.  Not much shows up on the front but the back tells a whole different story...  We are gonna be together when she delivers this to the happy couple...  Thanks for letting me work on this Kathy!!  It turned out great..

Vicki's quilt

Good morning,
Cant believe that its been almost a month since I have posted anything.  Shame on me!!!  I just finished Vicki's barn quilt.  It is such a sweet little quilt.  She has the pattern at her shop--Back Porch Quilts n Fabrics.    This quilt measured up at 62 x 72.  Perfect lap size or even a great wall hanging.  Thanks for taking a peek.

P.S.  I have some pictures of Kathys quilt but am having a heck of a time trying to get them off my phone, havent given up yet so be sure to check back and see Kathy's BQ3.

Daphne!!!

I finished "Daphne" today.  This is what was left of some of the blocks I had found after mom passed.  There was enough Pansy blocks to make 2 large quilts.  There was also enough of the 3 flower blocks to make 2 quilts.  With each having 4 leftover blocks this is what dh and I came up with.  Made a 48 x 48 lap/baby quilt.  It is alread listed on my website, http://www.camlynquilts.com/  Thanks for taking a peek.  Lynnie
